What to do about cleaning furniture?
I have three pieces of furniture (two love seats and a over-sized chair) with a textured chenille fabric. Well I have three cats, and they've covered the furniture in fur.
Is there anything I can use to rid of the hair? Also, what if anything, can I use to clean (soap/water) the furniture??
I just use a regular lint brush or sticky lint roller, and I've tried the Pledge pet hair sweeper. All of these would work really well at removing the hair. If you have a steam cleaner, most times you should have a wand attachment that you could use to actually wash the fabric as well. If you don't have one, you could rent one (from a grocery store, hardware store, etc.), or you could try just using a rag wet down with a detergent/water mixture.
**Also, look into getting slipcovers! They make stretchy ones for a semi-custom fit. I would die without mine! Any accidents, you just pull off the slipcover, wash it, and voila! They save you time and extend the life of your furniture.
