Can you stretch son in ironing?
A woman I know gave me a knitted placemat. I want it a little wider. If I iron, is extensible? Thank you.
You can try to block it. moisten with cool water. Get Heavy piece of thick cardboard. Place the mat on this board. Pull the mat to the length and / or width you want it and pins right through the wire along the outer edge of the mat (in carton). Make sure the angle of the pins outward so that the wire does not slip between them. To do this, carefully, around, being careful to keep the edges in the same rectangular shape. Let dry. Once dry, it should hold its shape when you remove the straight pins.
