Why doesn't my cat play with friendly cats?
My cat isn't always that friendly to other cats. A cat from down the road, a bit of an annoying cat that that went up to my cat and started rolling on his back to act submissive as if he wants to be friends, then my cat just puts his nose in the air and walks away. Why can't he be more friendly to other cats?
Like people, some cats are simply more sociable than others. Don't forget that by nature they are solo predators and building social relationships is not as important to them as it is to pack animals such as dogs.
