Where do you get all the facts to bargain the price of a house?
I'm considering purchasing my first home but I'm better at buying cars than houses because I don't know how to find values and info to leverage an offer with. Suppose the home I'm looking at is $134,000, how do I figure a legitimate offer or know if the current asking price is a good deal or not? Thanks everyone for your help!!
You can ask your real estate agent to run comps for you. I would ask for only the last 2 months. This will tell you how much the house is worth, if it is average with its neighborhood. Fixers will be less and ones with lots of high end upgrades will be more, but not much either way.
